Kindergarten Art

The Kindergarteners are working on symmetrical flower vases.  After coloring their vases and tabletops with markers, flower blobs (abstract flower head shapes) were painted using only primary and secondary colors pan watercolor. Symmetry and color mixing were the main two ideas stressed in this project.  The details (flower centers, petals, stems) were added with markers.
