Looking at the ocean through a porthole creates a whole new perspective on the third grade underwater scenes. Having at least one large fish and different varieties of very detailed plant life makes these pictures appear up close and personal. Water-soluble oil pastels in analogous colors were used to blend the colors of the fish and plants. Liquid watercolors fill the background.
